ABOUT LAWRENCE
Dr. Lawrence Loh is a public health and physician leader with senior-level experience at all three levels of government in two Canadian provinces, and within the non-profit sector as the sixth Chief Executive Officer of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. He holds adjunct professor status at the University of Toronto.

Lawrence's leadership, notably in leading Peel through the COVID-19 pandemic emergency, has been recognized with a Key to the City of Mississauga, a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, an honorary degree from Toronto Metropolitan University, and recognition on Toronto Life's 2021 list naming their Top 50 Most Influential Torontonians.

An graduate of Western University, the University of Toronto, and Johns Hopkins, Lawrence holds specialist fellowships in family medicine in Canada and public health and preventive medicine in Canada and the United States.
Living in Toronto with his wife and daughters, he is an an energetic extrovert, optimist, and connector with a passion for stories and a commitment to building a healthier, fairer, and more inclusive world.
